Chanel
Antes de que penséis nada, no, no tiene nada que ver con la verdadera Chanel. ¿Os acordáis que os conté qué preparé una fiesta con unos amigos para los que cumplian años en Septiembre? Pues hoy os voy a hablar un poco sobre ella.
Before you think anything, no, it doesn't have nothing to do with the real Chanel. Do you remember that I told you I prepared a party with some friends for the ones who had their birthday in September? Well, today I'll talk a little about it.
Teníamos la idea de la fiesta, pero no el tema. Así que a Nuri (os he hablado de ella, la que tiene el blog Graella Meravella) se le ocurrió la temática Chanel. Y así empezó todo. Diseñó las invitaciones (diciendo que estaban nominados a ser la nueva cara Chanel y que había una fiesta en su honor, pero que no podían contar nada) y las entregamos. Todos sabían que era algo nuestro (menos Julia, mi amiga. La pobre no se enteró de nada, por suerte), pero no tenian ni idea de lo que iba a pasar. La verdad es que todo se lo debemos a Nuri, que lo preparó todo ella solita (buscar el local, la decoración, el photocall, los postres, los regalos, la presentación de los premios...). A mi me tocó hacer un vídeo preguntando a la gente (nosotros) sobre que opinaban de las películas nominadas (de los cuales los protagonistas éramos todos nosotros). Y la verdad es que quedó bastante bien. Lo edité y listo.
We had the idea of the party, but not the theme. So Nuri (I talked about her before, the one who has the blog Graella Meravella) came up with the Chanel theme. So it began. She designed the invitations (saying they were nominated to be the new face of Chanel and there was a party in their honor, but they couldn't say it to anyone) and delivered them. Everyone knew it was something from us (less Julia, my friend. The poor didn't know anything, thankfully), but had no idea what was going to happen. The truth is that we owe it to Nuri, who prepared all by herself (search the place, do the decoration, do the photocall, cool the desserts, do the gifts, prepare the awards presentation...). I had to make a video asking people (us) about what they thought of the nominated films (of which the main characters were all of us). And the truth is that it looked pretty good. I edited and ready.
El día de la fiesta fuimos una hora antes para poder prepararlo todo. Colocamos una "alfombra roja", montamos un photocall, colgamos globos y carteles por todas partes... Eso sí, todo blanco, negro y rosa. Después montamos un "atril" donde se presentarían los premios, preparamos el proyector con los videos y sacamos los montones de comida y bebida. ¡Ya estaban aquí! Les dijimos a los "porteros" que les dejaran entrar y los recibimos con copas de champán (aquarius en el caso de Julia). Acto seguido les hicimos fotos y después nos hicimos fotos todos (en familia, las amigas, los cumpleañeros...). Vino el momento de la entrega de premios. Mi hermano y Judit presentaron la "gala" y fueron pasando los nominados y ganando. A cada uno le entregaban un ramo de flores, una galleta-medalla y una colonia. Entonces salió Mariona con la presentación de las nuevas portadas de las revistas (donde salían ellos) y más tarde se las entregaron a los protagonistas. Siguió la gala. Me tocó a mi presentar el vídeo y lo pusimos. Se dieron los últimos premios y se acabó la gala. Era la hora de atacar a la comida. Se cortó el pastel y todo el mundo cogió un trozo. Cuando ya no nos entraba nada más en el estómago, se puso música y bailamos, cantamos y reímos hasta que nos cansamos. Entonces hicimos una redonda con las sillas y jugamos al teléfono (sí, lo habéis oído bién). Cuando dió la 1am, lo recogimos todo y cada uno se fue para su casa con las sobras que le tocó.
Pasamos una noche increíble y nos reímos hasta llorar.
In the day we went to the place an hour earlier to prepare everything. We put a "red carpet", create a photocall, hang balloons and signs everywhere... Of course, all white, black and pink. After we set up a "lectern" where the awards were presented, prepare the projector with the videos and put the lots of food and drink in the tables. They were here! We told the "gatekeepers" to let them in and we received them with champagne (Aquarius for Julia). We took them pictures in the photocall and then we took pictures all togheter (with the family, the friends, the birthday boy and girls...). Then came the time of the awards. My brother and Judith presented the "gala" and the nominees and winners came and left. To each of them there was a bouquet of flowers, a cookie-medal and a perfume. Mariona, then, did the presentation of the new magazines cover (where they were) and later gave them to the winners. The gala continued. It came my presentation of the video and put it. The last awards took place and the gala ended. It was the time to attack the food. The cake was cut and everyone took a piece. When we didn't fit anything else in the stomach, we put on the music and danced, sang and laughed till we dropped. Then we did a round with chairs and play at the telephone (yes, you heard right). When it was 1am, we cleaned up everything and everyone went home with their leftovers.
We had an amazing night and we laughed 'till cry.
