I am 16 going on 17!!

Empiezo este post con un trozo de una canción de Sonrisas y Lágrimas, una de mis favoritas: "I am sixteen going on seventeen". Y es que está hecha a la perfección para mi, ya que tengo 16!!
Sé que es un poco tarde, porque hace un mes que fue mi cumpleaños, pero os voy a contar como lo celebré.
Los 16 siempre han sido una edad especial, no se porque, y por eso quería hacer algo especial. En total tuve 5 celebraciones, cada una igual de especial. Las voy a resumir todas y así os puedo contar lo más importante.

I begin this post with a piece of a song from The Sound of Music, one of my favorites: "I am sixteen going on seventeen". And it is made perfectly for me, since I am 16!!
I know it's a bit late, because my birthday was a month ago, but I'll tell you how I celebrated.
16 have always been a special age, do not know why, and that's why I wanted to do something special. In all I had 5 celebrations, each equal special. I am going to summarize all so I can tell you the most important things.

La primera fue dos días después de mi cumpleaños y fue totalmente sorpresa. Tenía que ir a casa de una amiga para recoger una cosa y, al subir, me encontré con la mesa llena de comida y un pastel y mis amigas salieron de una habitación, gritando: ¡¡SORPRESA!! No me lo esperaba para nada. Comimos el delicioso pastel y lo acompañamos con limonada rosa y brownies, todo hecho por ellas. Después estuvimos haciendo el burro hasta que nos tuvimos que ir.
The first one was two days after my birthday and was totally surprise. I had to go to a friend's house to pick one thing and when I went in, I found the table full of food and a cake and my friends came out of a room, shouting: SURPRISE!! I did not expect it at all. We ate the delicious cake with pink lemonade and brownies, all done by them. Later we did silly things until we had to go.

El día 20 tuve la famosa fiesta (algunas fotos estan en el canal) con la temática de Casablanca. La celebré en mi casa y invité a 11 amigos/as. Fue muy divertido, tanto planearla como vivirla. Unas semanas antes hice invitaciones y las entregué, preparé un "photocall", compré la comida y las bebidas, preparé varios juegos (Just Dance, "Lobo"...) para estar entretenidos todo el rato,... Cuando llegaron, todo vestiditos de la época, nos hicimos fotos y escuchamos música, después estuvimos un rato bailando al Just Dance, cenamos Raclette (comida típica suiza) y jugamos al "Lobo". Hasta hubo una pequeña guerra de comida con nata. A una cierta hora los chicos se fueron y las chicas montamos las camas en el comedor/sala de estar, me dieron los regalos y estuvimos hablando hasta pasadas las 3am. ¡Me lo pasé de miedo!
On the 20th I had the famous party (some photos are in the channel) with the theme of Casablanca. I celebrated it in my house and I invited 11 friends. It was fun, plan it and live it. A few weeks before I made the invitations and delivered them, I prepared a photocall, I bought food and drinks, I prepared several games (Just Dance, "Wolf" ...) to be entertained all the time... When they arrived, all dress up with the thematic, we took photos and listen to music, then we stayed a while dancing to Just Dance, eat Raclette for dinner (typical Swiss food) and played "Wolf". There was even a small food fight with cream. Whe the party finished, the boys left and the girls prepared the beds in the living room, gave me their gifts and talked until after 3am. I had a ball!

El mediodía después de la fiesta, el 21, tuve una comida con la familia de mi padre. Fuimos a un restaurante chulísimo en Sant Celoni y comimos genial.
The midday after the party, the 21st, I had a lunch with my dad's family. We went to an amazing restaurant in Sant Celoni and had an excelent meal.

El 28 hicimos una comida con la familia de mi madre en casa de mi abuelo (aunque era más una excusa para reunirnos).

Finalmente, el 5 de marzo a unos padres (de un grupo que tenemos con mis amigas y las familias) y a mi nos prepararon una fiesta sorpresa para celebrar los cumpleaños de los tres. Yo ya sabía que preparaban algo, pero la temática fue completamente sorpresa. Una semana antes me entregaron una invitación que ponía: "Baile de Graduación. Class of 2016." Me vestí con la ropa que indicaba (de blanco) y esperé a que me recogieran. Al recogerme me dieron un ramillete y nos llevaron a casa de la abuela de una amiga (que nos la había dejado para la fiesta). Allí salieron todas las chicas vestidas de "cheerleaders" y nos hicieron todo un numerito. Al entrar en la casa, estaba todo decorado con globos, banderines, un "photocall", ponche y pegatinas para votar al Rey, Reina y Princesa de la noche (creo que está claro quien ganó). Bailamos, comimos, cantamos, reímos y votamos. Al hacer la entrega de los premios (yo quedé Princesa), nos dieron una banda roja con nuestro título, una corona y un diploma. Además, a mi me dieron unos regalos chulísimos: un altavoz con bluetooth, un tónico facial, maquillaje de Astor y Bourjois y una esponja para el maquillaje. Al acabar la noche, nos fuimos con la música en el altavoz nuevo cantando "White Walls" de Macklemore. ¡Una noche memorable!
Finally, on March 5 to two parents (of a group we have with my friends and their families) and to me they threw us a surprise party to celebrate the birthday of the three of us. I knew they were preparing something, but the subject was completely a surprise. A week before I was handed an invitation that said: "Prom. Class of 2016." I dressed in the indicated clothes (white) and waited them to pick me up. I got a bouquet and they took us to a friend's grandmother's house (which she left us for the party). There, all the girls came dressed as cheerleaders and made us a short show. Inside the house, everything was decorated with balloons, banners, a photocall, punch and stickers to vote for the King, Queen and Princess of the night (I think it is clear who won). We danced, ate, sang, laughed and vote. Whe they announced the winners (I was the Princess), we got a red band with our title, a crown and a diploma. In addition, I was given some amazing gifts: a speaker with bluetooth, facial tonic, Astor and Bourjois makeup and a sponge for the makeup. At the end of the night, we went home with the music on the new speaker singing "White Walls" Macklemore. A memorable night!
