He visto miles de veces a la gente usando el hashtag #WCE (Woman Crush Ever) y hoy es el día en que yo lo voy a usar. Aprovechando que antes de ayer fue su 26 cumpleaños, mi WCE es....(redoble de tambores).... EMMA WATSON!!

No me digáis que no sabéis quien es porque os estrangulo... Pero bueno, nadie es perfecto...

I've seen thousands of times people using the hashtag #WCE (Woman Crush Ever) and today is the day when I'm using it. As the day before yesterday was her 26th birthday, my WCE is.... (drums...).... EMMA WATSON!!

Don't tell me you don't know who she is because I'll kill you... But well, nobody is perfect...

¿Quién es Emma Watson?

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson es una actriz, modelo y filántropa británica que nació el 15 de abril de 1990 en París (Francia), donde vivió hasta los cinco años, cuando se mudó hacia Oxford (Inglaterra).

Su debut como actriz fue cuando la escogieron, a la edad de nueve años, para interpretar a Hermione Granger en la saga de películas de Harry Potter. Gracias a su interpretación durante las ocho exitosas películas de Harry Potter, ha sido galardonada con varios premios. También ha participado en otras películas como Mi Semana con Marilyn, Las Ventajas de ser un Marginado, Noé y Regresión. Actualmente está rodando el remake de La Bella y la Bestia, donde interpreta a Bella.

Como modelo ha participado con marcas como Burberry, People Tree, Alberta Ferretti i Lancôme.


Pero no sólo por esta parte de su carrera siento una gran admiración hacia ella (aunque protagonizar mi película favorita y ser una gran actriz ayuda), sino por sus otras facetas, su faceta más solidaria y su faceta más inteligente.

Who is Emma Watson?

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is an British actress, model and philanthropist that was born April 15, 1990 in Paris (France), where she lived until she was five years old, when she moved to Oxford (England).

Her debute as an actress was when she was chosen, at the age of nine, to play Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series. Thanks to her performance during the eight successful Harry Potter films, she has received many awards. She has also played in other films like My Week with Marilyn, The Perks of being a Wallflower, Noah and Regression. She's currently filming the remake of The Beauty and the Beast, as Belle. 

As a model she has participate with brands like Burberry, People Tree, Alberta Ferretti and Lancôme. 

But not only for this part of her career I admire her (tough she stars my favorite film and she's an amazing actress), but also for her other faces, her more caring face and her more intelligent face.

La Emma Watson más solidaria

Su faceta más solidaria empezó cuando participó como asesora creativa con la marca de moda People Tree, de comercio justo y ropa ecológica, gratuitamente. Hasta viajó a Bangladesh para entender e informarse del proceso de producción.

Al trabajar como modelo para el artista Mark Demsteader, el 10% de las ganancias con la venta de las pinturas fueron dirigidas a la ONG "CAMFED International", que trabaja en las zonas rurales de África para introducir a las niñas en el mundo escolar y facilitándoles todo tipo de materiales necesarios (uniformes, libros...). Un año después terminó siendo la embajadora oficial de CAMFED.

Desde 2014 es la Embajadora de la Buena Voluntad en la ONU Mujeres, cuando, ante la asamblea de las Naciones Unidas, dio un emotivo discurso sobre la igualdad política, económica y social en ambos sexos.

The Emma Watson more caring

Her more caring face started when she participate as a creative consultant with the fashion brand People Tree, of fair trade and organic clothing, for free. She even travelled to Bangladesh to understand and inform of the process of production.

When she worked as a model for the artist Mark Demsteader, the 10% of the earning with the sell of the paintings when to the NGO "CAMFED International", that worked in the rural zones of Africa to introduce the girls to the school word and gave them all type of materials (uniforms, books...). A year later she became the official ambassador of CAMFED. 

Since 2014 she's the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, when, in front of the NU, she gave an emotive speech about political, economical and social equality in both genders. 

Sí, también tiene estudios universitarios

Si es que esta chica lo tiene todo. Al igual que su alter ego, Hermione Granger, Emma es una mujer muy inteligente. Mientras rodaba Harry Potter, obtuvo la Secundaria con notas muy altas y decidió dejar la universidad para más adelante.

En 2009 comenzó sus estudios de literatura Inglesa en la Universidad de Brown, EUA. No los terminó para centrarse en el final de los días de Harry Potter, aunque tomó un curso en la Universidad de Worcester (Oxford) como complemento de Brown. En 2014 se graduó en la Universidad de Brown con una licenciatura en literatura Inglesa.

 This girl has everything. Just like her alter ego, Hermione Granger, Emma is a very clever woman. While she was filming Harry Potter, she got her high school degree with very high marks and decided to take a gap year.

In 2009 she began her studies of English literature in Brown University, EUA. She didn't finish them to focus on the end of the days of Harry Potter, though she took a course in Worcester College (Oxford) as a visiting student. In 2014 she finally graduated from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in English literature.
