Febrero viene pisando fuerte... / February is coming strong...
Así se llama el post de hoy: Febrero viene pisando fuerte. Antes de contaros nada, quiero decir que siento que ultimamente no estoy publicando mucho y que me he centrado más en el canal, pero hoy he decidido contarlo primero por aquí (aunque ya tengo el video hecho y sin editar). ¡Empecemos!
Como algunos sabréis, febrero es MI MES. Quiero decir, que cumplo años. ¡Bieeen! Y tengo un montón de planes chulísimos (y otros no tanto) durante los 29 días (porque amigos, este año es bisiesto). Voy a empezar por orden de fecha:
This is today's title: February is coming strong. Before I tell you anything, I want to say that I'm sorry for not publishing a lot lately and being for focused in the channel, but today I've decided to tell you first (although I've the video done and not edited). Let's start!
As some of you know, February is MY MONTH. Meaning, it's my birthday. Yaay! And I've a lot of awesome plans (and some not so awesome) in these 29 days ('cause folks, this is a leap-year). I'm going to start in order of date:
1. El día 5 celebramos Carnaval en el instituto (sí, celebramos Carnaval, somos así de chulos), donde iremos disfrazados (OJO!) de fiesta de cumpleaños (si, habéis oído bién). Explico: la escuela cumple 50 años y en su honor, cada curso irá disfrazado de un objeto. Mi curso irá de número 50 (¡MATÁDME RÁPIDO!) con algún objeto en la cabeza (sorpresa!....). Como véis, estoy súper emocionada. Y para hacer aún más el ridículo, siguiendo la tradición de bailar una canción cada curso, el mío bailará la canción "Get Ugly" de Jason Derulo (podría haber sido peor...).
1. The 5th we celebrate Carnival in high school (yes, we celebrate Carnival, we're this awesome), where we'll dress up as (WAIT!) birthday party (yes, you heard right). I explain: it's the 50th anniversary of the school and in its honor, every grade will dress up as an object. My grade will go as the number 50 (KILL ME FAST!) with something in the head (surprise!....). As you can see, I'm very excited. And to look more like fools, following the tradition of dancing a song every grade, mine will dance "Get Ugly" by Jason Derulo (could be worst...).
2. El mismo día 5, pero por la noche, siguiendo la tradición (empezada el año pasado), mis amigas, los padres, los hermanos y yo nos disfrazaremos y iremos a cenar por ahí. El año pasado fuimos de ladrones de banco y este año seguramente de súper-héroes. Aún no está decidido.
2. The night of the 5th, following the tradition (started last year), my friends, the parents, the brothers and me will dress up and have dinner. Last year we went as bank thiefs and this year probably as superheroes. It isn't decided yet.
3. El finde del 6 voy a hacer dos recetas porque las semanas siguientes no voy a tener tiempo de preparar ninguna. Porque...:

4. ¡El día 12 me voy a París! Pasaré todo el finde allí con mi madre como regalo de cumple. Ya tengo la ruta hecha y nos alojaremos en un apartamento muy mono que encontramos por Airbnb, una web que te permite buscar apartamenos, pisos y casas para cuando te vas de viaje. También puedes ser anfitrión/a y recibir gente en tu casa. ¿Por qué París? Pues porque estuve allí hace dos años pero no hicimos mucho turismo, ya que estábamos en Disneyland y con niños no se puede visitar mucho. También porque mi madre no ha estado nunca. ¡Que emoción! Ya os contaré que tal. A lo mejor hago algún video.
4. The 12th I'm going to Paris! I'll spend the whole weekend there with my mom as a birthday gift. I've the route done and we'll stay in a cute apartment that we found thanks to Airbnb, a web where you can find apartments and houses for when you travel. You can also be the host and receive people in your house. Why Paris? Because I went there two years ago but we didn't do a lot of sighseeing because we actually were in Disneyland and went with kids. Also because my mom has never been there. Very exciting! I'll keep you informed. Maybe I do a video.
5. ¡El 16 es mi cumplee!!! ¡Y cumplo 16!! Ya me podré sacar el carnet de moto (125cc, eso sí) y no tirar tanto de chófer (¡hola mama!). Y también podré empezar a trabajar (legalmente), que eso va muy bién para ganarse unos ahorrillos. Seguramente por Semana Santa y verano aprovecharé y le pediré a mi padre que me enchufe en su empresa.
Para colmo, el 16 y el 17 todos los 4o de ESO de Cataluña hacen las pruebas "Competencias Básicas", donde nos pasan cinco examenes (uno de cada asignatura). Lo peor es que a partir de este año si no apruevas los examenes, es difícil que aprueves la ESO. Aunque no tengo motivos para estar nerviosa, lo estoy...
5. The 16th it's my birthday!!! I'm turning 16!! I'll be able to get my motorcyle license (125cc) and won't use my driver so much (hi mom!). Also I can start working (legaly), which goes very well to earn a few euros. Probably for Easter and summer I'll ask my dad to let me work in his company.
Sadly, the 16th and 17th every 4th of ESO (10th grade) of Catalonia has to do the "Competencias Basicas", where we have to do 5 exams (one for each subject). The worst is that from this year if you don't pass the tests, you probably won't pass the ESO. Although I don't have reasons to be worried, I am...
6. El día 20, 27 y 28 iré de instituto en instituto para ver mis opciones para el año que viene, ya que mi escuela no tiene Bachillerato, y aprovecharé las jornadas de puertas abiertas. Tengo tres candidatos, ahora falta decidir el orden de prioridad.

7. El día 20 por la tarde celebraré mi fiesta de cumpleaños con los amigos y amigas. Este año he decidido hacer algo un poco más especial y la fiesta va a ser temática. Lo siento, pero no os puedo hacer SPOILERS (tantantan...). Cuando haya entregado las invitaciones (que las estoy haciendo ahora mismo) a todos, os iré desvelando cosas poco a poco, pero hasta el día de la fiesta no voy a contar nada de ella. TOP SECRET.
7. The 20th afternoon I'll throw a birthday party with my friends. This year I've decided to do something a bit more special and there's going to be a theme. I'm sorry, but I can't do more SPOILERS (tantantan...). When I've delivered all the invitations (which I'm doing right now), I'll reveal some things, but until the day is here I won't say a word about it. TOP SECRET.
8. El 21 celebraré mi cumpleaños con la familia de mi padre y seguramente iremos a comer donde el año pasado. A las afueras de Gerona hay un restaurante (no me acuerdo del nombre) donde sirven unos caracoles deliciosos (¡me encantan los caracoles!) y iremos allí.
8. The 21st I'll celebrate my birthday with my dad's family and probably we'll go where we went last year. On the outskirts of Girona there's a restaurant (can't remember the name) where they serve delicious snails (I love snails!) and we'll go there.
