Siempre nos quedará París / We'll always have París

Oh, París... Te voy a echar de menos... Tus calles, tu gente, tus crêpes, tus museos, tus librerias, tus "The Voice France", tu lluvia y tu frío... NO, ESO NO.
Pero bueno... Qué se le va a hacer... Hay que volver a la rutina... Al despertar a las 7am, al sueño, a las clases y los exámenes... Pero todo tiene un propósito y una recompensa. Y ya queda poco para que acabe el curso y empiecen las vacaciones de verano. ¡Qué ganas!

Oh, Paris... I'm going to miss you... Your streets, your people, your crêpes, your museums, your bookstores, your "The Voice France", your rain and your cold... NO, NOT THAT. 
Well... I can't change life... Back to routine... Waking up at 7am, being sleepy, classes and exams... But everything has a purpose and a reward. And end of school and summer holidays are almost here. Can't wait!

Dejando mis fantasías a un lado, vamos a hablar de París. Por cierto, tenéis el vídeo con todas las fotos y apariciones mías comentando en el canal de Youtube (Carlota's Secrets). Espero que os guste.
Como aquí no voy a colgar todas las fotos porque me pasaría la vida y ya están en Youtube, voy a hacer un resumen de lo que hicimos y a valorar mi experiencia.

Leaving my fantasies aside, let's talk about Paris. Btw, you have the video with all the photos and my comments in the Youtube channel (Carlota's Secrets). Hope you like it. As in here I won't post all the photos 'cause I'd spend all my life and they're already in Youtube, I'm going to summarize what we did and review my experience. 

DÍA 1

Nos levantamos a las 9am y fuimos a comprar. Cogimos todo lo necesario (sobretodo paraguas) y salimos en busca de una panadería para desayunar mientras cogíamos el metro hacía la parada Charles de Gaulle-Étoile. Allí bajamos, admiramos el Arco de Triumfo (queríamos subir pero había un montón de cola y llovía mucho, así que pasamos), le tomamos fotos y atravesamos toda la Avenida de los Campos Eliseos andando. Pasamos por la Plaza de la Concordia y el Jardín de las Tullerías hasta llegar a nuestro objetivo, el Louvre. Después de 1.5h de cola y un bocata, entramos y saboreamos sus obras (las que pudimos ver, porque había millones). Por supuesto, no faltó La Gioconda, un MUST. Cuando nos cansamos, salimos de allí y nos dirigimos hasta Notre Dame (aunque tardamos un poco porque tuvimos algún percance que otro... Nos perdimos, vamos). Tomamos muchas fotos y fuimos al que ahora es OFICIALMENTE mi sitio preferido de París...... La librería Shakespeare & Company. Si es que lo tiene todo. Se llama Shakespeare y tiene libros. Es el paraíso. Y por supuesto, me compré dos libros (ambos en inglés, soy muy chula): Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone y CHOUX: Chic and delicious French pastries (¡no puedo esperar para preparar alguna receta!!). De allí nos fuimos al apartamento porque no aguantábamos más.

DAY 1

We got up at 9am and went to the supermarket. Took all the necessary (especially umbrella) and went looking for a bakery to have breakfast while took the subway to Charles de Gaulle-Étoile. There we went out the subway and admire the Arc de Triomphe (we wanted to went up but there was a lot of queue and it was raining a lot, so we passed), took photos of it and walk through the whole Avenue des Champs-Élysées. We passed through Place de la Concorde and Jardin des Tuileries and got to our objective, Louvre. After 1.5h of queue and a sandwich, we got inside and enjoyed its art (not all of it  because there're millions). Of course, La Gioconda was on the list, a MUST. When we were tired, we got out of there and headed to Notre Dame (although it took a while 'cause we had some troubles... We got lost, yes). We took a lot of photos and went to my OFFICIALY favourite place of Paris... The bookstore Shakespeare & Company. It has everything I need. It's named Shakespeare and it has books. It's heaven. And of coure I bought two books (both in English, no need to say): Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and CHOUX: Chic and delicious French pastries (can't wait to cook them!). From there we went to the apartment because we couldn't stand awake a minute more.

DÍA 2

Nos levantamos a las 9am y nos dirigimos en metro a la Torre Eiffel, otro MUST. Después de un rato haciendo más de una cola (si los tickets, si el ascensor, si el otro ascensor...) llegamos a lo alto de la torre. ¡Vaya vistas! ¡Eso es mágico! Aunque sí que es verdad que el tiempo no estaba a su favor... Hacía la hora de comer paramos en un restaurante para descansar y yo me comí una crêpe (OH LA LA!). Solo nos faltaba Montmartre (el Sagrado Corazón y el Moulin Rouge), pero empezó a llover muchísimo y nos dio pereza, así que volvimos al apartamento, comimos, lo recogimos todo y nos fuimos al aeropuerto. Au revoir, Paris!

DAY 2

We woke up at 9am and headed to the subway to the Eiffel Tower, another MUST. After a while of more than one queue (tickets, elevator, another elevator...blablabla...) we arrived at the top of the tower. What a view! Magical! Although it's true the weather wasn't at its favor... At lunch time we stopped in a restaurant to rest and I eat a crêpe (OH LA LA!). The only places left were Montmarte (Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge), but it started to rain a lot and we got lazy, so we went back to the apartment, eat, picked up all our stuff and headed to the airport. Au revoir, Paris!

Y esto fue todo. En tan sólo dos días yo creo que visitamos bastante. Fue una experiencia maravillosa y la compartí con una de las personas más importantes de mi vida, mi madre. Espero poder repetirla. Aunque hubo cosas que sobraban (como el tiempo o el hecho de que casi no cogemos el avión porque mi madre no encontraba el DNI), nos los pasamos en grande. ¡Gracias mama!

El próximo post y vídeo será sobre mi fiesta de cumpleaños (¡que ya tengo 16 años!!), está en proceso. ¡Ah! ¡NOTICIA! ¡En 3 semanas habrá otro viaje! ¿Dónde? 3 días en Madrid por Semana Santa con mis abuelos y mi hermano. Mi primera vez allí. Así que... ¡Otro vídeo de viaje prontitooo!

And this was all. In only two days I think we visited a lot. It was an amazing experience and I shared it with one of the most important people in my life, my mom. Hope we can repeat soon. Altough there were some things that I hated (as the weather or the fact that we almost miss our flight 'cause my mom could'nt find her ID), we had a gread time. Thanks mom!
