BOOK REVIEW: "El Corredor del Laberinto: La Cura Mortal" de James Dashner ll "The Death Cure" by James Dashner

Otro libro que va a mi librería. Y como os prometí, ahora toca mi opinión. No os quiero hacer muchos spoilers porque no mola nada, pero para dar mi opinión alguno va a caer.

Es el último libro de tres y perfecto si os gustan las trilogías como Divergente o Los Juegos del Hambre, ya que la trama es bastante parecida. Si os gustó el primer y el segundo libro, os va a encantar éste.

SINOPSIS:

"Thomas no puede confiar en WICKED. La organización le borró sus recuerdos y lo encerró en el Laberinto. Luego lo dejó al borde de la muerte, en el Desierto. Y lo separaron de los Gladers, sus únicos amigos. Ahora WICKED asegura que el tiempo de las mentiras ha terminado. Con toda la información que reunió gracias a las Pruebas, está en condiciones de avanzar en la cura de la Flare. Pero Thomas debe pasar por la Prueba Final. ¿Logrará sobrevivir al procedimiento? ¿Será cierto que se terminaron las mentiras? Quizá la verdad sea más terrible aún... una solución letal, sin retorno.

Thomas está viviendo desde hace tres semanas en una habitación que no tiene ventanas y está siempre iluminada por un blanco resplandeciente. Desconoce la hora y no tiene contacto con nadie del exterior, más allá de las bandejas que alguien le está llevando a diario. 
El vigésimo sexto día, la puerta se abre y un hombre lo conduce a una sala donde están sus viejos amigos. Está a punto de recuperar todos sus recuerdos. 
Hasta el más escondido de ellos."

Me ha gustado muchísimo, igual que el primer y el segundo libro. No decepciona para nada. Como ya dije en los anteriores previews, no tenía muy claras las intenciones de Teresa, pero parece que decía la verdad en el segundo. (SPOILER ALERT) ¿Y Gally? Hasta me dió pena y todo, el pobre... Por no hablar de Newt... (DEP...) Fue muy valiente al pedirle eso a Thomas... Y Thomas lo fue aún más al cumplirlo. Ni me imagino lo difícil que debe ser hacerlo... No quiero ni imaginarlo. Hablando de no pensar... Cada vez que leía el nombre de Jansen (aka Rat Man) me daban ganas de romper el libro. ¡Que asco de hombre! Tampoco tengo muy claras las intenciones de Chancellor Paige... ¿Los libera porque cree en ellos y en su libertad o tiene otros planes como dice en el mail del final del libro? 
El momento más triste es, sin duda alguna, (SPOILER ALERT) cuando Thomas mata a Newt, uno de sus mejores amigos. No me lo creía. Solo era un chico. Pero Thomas fue muy valiente al cumplir su promesa y después al decidir no contarle nada a Minho. No pude evitar derramar algunas lágrimas. ¿Y cuando Thomas lee la nota de Newt? Oh... Pobrecito... Tampoco puedo evitar derramar alguna lágrima cada vez que se menciona a Chuck (mi pobre Chuck).  (SPOILER ALERT) Y si, a ver, me dio pena cuando murió Teresa, ya que dio su vida por la de Thomas y los demás, pero tampoco rompí a llorar. 

¿Mi escena favorita? No podría escoger... Hay demasiadas. Es un gran libro y una gran trilogía, si os van éste tipo de trilogías. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Por cierto. me acabo de enterar de que hay una precuela (el segundo libro de la precuela sale éste año), así que también me los tendré que leer...

Another book that goes to my bookshelf. And as I promised, now it's time for my opinion. I don't want to give you many spoilers because it's not cool, but to give my opinion there'll be some of them.

This is the last book of three and perfect if you like trilogies as Divergent or The Hunger Games, as the plot is quite similar. If you loved the first and second one, you'll love this one too.

PLOT:

"Thomas can't trust WICKED. The organization erased his memories and locked him in the Maze. Then they left him on the brink of death in the desert. And separated him from the Gladers, his only friends. Now WICKED says the time of lies is over. with all the information gathered by the tests, it is able to advance the cure of Flare. But Thomas must pass the final test. Will he survive the procedure? Is it true that they ended the lies? Perhaps the truth is even more terrible... A lethal solution, no return.

Thomas has been living for three weeks in a room that has no windows and is always illuminated by a glowing white light. Doesn't know the time and has no contact with anyone from the outside, beyond the trays that someone is carrying daily.
The twenty-sixth day, the door opens and a man leads him to a room where his old friends are. It's time about to recover all their memories.

Even the most hidden from them. "

I've liked it very much, like the first and second book. Not disappointed at all. As I said in previous previews, Teresa's intentions weren't clear, but it seems that she was telling the truth in the second book. (SPOILER ALERT) And Gally? I even felt sorry for him, poor boy... Not to mention Newt... (RIP...) He was very brave to ask that of Thomas... And Thomas was even more for doing it. I can't imagine how difficult it must be... I don't even want to imagine. Speaking of not thinking... Every time I read the name Jansen (aka Rat Man) it made me want to break the book. Yuck man! Nor have very clear Chancellor Paige's intentions... She releases them because she believes in them and in their freedom or has other plans as it says in the mail in the end of the book?

The saddest moment is, without doubt, (SPOILER ALERT) when Thomas kills Newt, one of his best friends. Couldn't believe it. He was just a boy. But Thomas was brave to keep his promise and then deciding not to tell Minho. I couldn't help but shed some tears. And when Thomas read Newt's note? Oh... Poor thing... Nor can I help but shed a tear every time they mention Chuck (my poor Chuck)(SPOILER ALERT) And yes, let's see, I was sorry when Teresa died, she gave her life for Thomas and the others, but I didn't broke to mourn.

My favorite scene? I couldn't choose... There are too many. It's a great book and a great trilogy, if you like this type of trilogies. I totally recommend it.

Btw. I just found out that there is a prequel (the second book of the prequel is coming out this year), so I also have to read those...
