BOOK REVIEW: "El Teorema Katherine" de John Green ll "An Abundance of Katherines" by John Green
Este libro es del magnífico escritor John Green y perfecto si os gustan sus otros libros como Bajo la Misma Estrella, Ciudades de Papel (las películas de estos dos libros están muy bién, sobretodo la de Bajo la Misma Estrella) o Buscando a Alaska. Si os gustaron, este os va a encantar. La verdad es que me encanta como escribe John Green y como consigue mezclar la filosofia con el amor adolescente y como te hace pensar y sí, llorar también.
SINOPSIS:
"Según Colin Singleton existen dos tipos de persona: los que dejan y los que son dejados. Él, sin duda, pertenece al segundo. Su última ex, Katherine XIX, no es una reina, sino la Katherine número diecinueve, que le ha roto el corazón. Para escapar de su mal de amores, y con el propósito de hallar un teorema que explique la maldición de las Katherine, Colin emprende junto a su amigo Hassan una aventura que le llevará a Gutshot, un pueblecito de Tennessee, y a la sospecha de que en la vida la inteligencia no siempre es la mejor compañera de viaje."
Adoro a John Green. Ya he leído cuatro libros suyos y me encanta la manera como escribe. Esa mezcla de poesía y tragedia adolescente es increíble. Te da mucho que pensar. En la vida, en el Gran Quizá, en el destino, en el amor... Es pura filosofia.
¿Mi personaje favorito? La verdad es que no tengo ninguno. Todos me han gustado por igual y también me han dado ganas de darles unas cuantas bofetadas. Normalmente tengo algún que otro favorito, pero en este caso NO.
¿Mi escena favorita? Hay muchos momentos chulos y súper graciosos. Cuando les persiguen el cerdo y las abejas, cuando pillan a EOC con ... (no lo voy a decir...), cuando descubren la Verdad (tampoco lo voy a decir...), ...

Another book that goes to my bookshelf. And as I promised, now it's time for my opinion. I don't want to give you many spoilers because it's not cool, but to give my opinion there'll be some of them.
This book is by the great writer John Green and perfect if you like his other books like The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns (I love the films of these two books, especially The Fault in Our Stars) or Looking for Alaska. If you liked them, this one will charm you. The truth is that I love how John Green writes and how he manages to mix philosophy with teenage love and how he makes you think and yes, cry.
PLOT:
"According to Colin Singleton there are two types of person: those who leave and those who are left. He undoubtedly belongs to the second. His last ex, Katherine XIX, is not a queen, but the nineteen-year-old Katherine, who has broken his heart. In order to escape his love affliction, and with the purpose of finding a theorem explaining the Katherine's curse, Colin and his friend Hassan undertake an adventure that will take him to Gutshot, a small town in Tennessee, and to the suspicion that in life intelligence is not always the best travel companion."
I adore John Green. I have already read three of his books and I love the way he writes. That mixture of poetry and teenage tragedy is incredible. It gives you a lot to think about. In life, in the Great Perhaps, in destiny, in love ... It is pure philosophy.
My favorite character? The truth is that I don't have any. I've liked them all the same and they've also made me want to give them a few slaps. I usually have a or some favorites, but NOT in this case.
My favorite scene? There are many cool and super funny moments. When they are chased by the pig and the bees, when they catch TOC with ... (I won't say it...), when they discover the Truth (I won't say it either...), ...
If you like this type of book, you should read this one.
